Original US WWII M1 Swivel Bale Helmet With Westinghouse Liner- HELMET SHELL
It does appear to have factory OD Green paint on helmet shell with fine cork textured finish. There appears to be someone's name faintly written on the outside.
The web chinstrap is intact and still in solid condition, but is slightly dirty.
Excellent condition.
LINER
Westinghouse Marked Helmet Liner. Has been repainted orange/yellow and was repurposed for Bureau of Prisons - see pics for details.
The fixed webbing is in intact and in excellent condition.
The original leather chinstrap mostly missing - just a small piece remains.
Neckband is intact and it is adjustable.
Original Sweatband is intact - some of the leather is dry and cracking.
