Original German WWII Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung Newspaper (Berlin Illustrated Newspaper) Issue 51, Dec 1943- This newspaper type magazine is dated 23 December 1943. The cover photo is of two little girls speaking in front of a radio microphone. The captions on the bottom is "Der schönste Weihnachtsgruß: Hier sind Hannelore und Fritzi, lieber Vati es geht uns gut!“...translates to: The most beautiful Christmas greeting (over the radio) "Here are Hannelore and Fritzi, Dear Dad, we are fine!" There are great period photos, articles, and comics.
Measures approximately 15" x 11" and has 12 pages. All pages are in tact. Shows some age with discoloration and worn edges. There may be a few small rips and torn edges, too. In good, used condition.
