Unissued Original U.S. WWII M1 Carbine Magazine Stock Pouch 1943-
Originally designed as a belt pouch, soldiers realized it could slip over the front of the M1 Carbine, and then would stop around the butt of the rifle. Here it could be used to keep mags close at hand, which is why they are also known a "butt pouches" for the M1 carbine.
This authentic pouch is in excellent, unissued condition. It is maker marked and dated "AVERY 1943" and the front is marked "U.S.".
