Unissued Original US WWII .50 Caliber Machine Gun Cotton Belt-
These cotton belts were used to feed ammunition into .50 caliber machine guns, like the Browning. Cloth belts were lighter and quieter than metal belts, but these would fall apart after firing, leaving single rounds in the gun's chamber.
The ones in the photo are dated 42 and 43. Excellent, unissued condition.
