Original German WWII Wehrmacht Long Service Award For 12 Years- The Medal for Twelve Years of Loyal Service to the Wehrmacht (Dienstauszeichnung des Heeres für 12 Jahre), 3rd Class, boasts a distinctive design with an embossed Wehrmacht style national eagle prominently displayed, encircling the Gothic script "Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht" (loyal services in the Armed Forces), set against a simple background. On the reverse side of the medal, the number "12" is also embossed at the center, resting on a smooth base and encircled by a wreath of oak leaves. Ribbon is in very good condition and shows age.
