This is an extremely rare variant original early Waffen SS RZM "Hammer Head" sleeve eagle, a highly sought-after piece for collectors. Unlike many examples available on the market, this eagle retains its original backing. Approximately half of the black wool backing has experienced moth damage, consistent with its age. The eagle was uniform-removed, with remnants of black stitching still visible. Rare early SS sleeve eagles typically sell for $700–$800 and are already sold out on many platforms. Despite the wear, this extremely rare variant of an early SS sleeve eagle remains in good condition and would make a valuable addition to any collection.
