Original Waffen SS EM/NCO's Belt Buckle Unmarked Overhoff & Cie–
Offered is an original Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Belt Buckle, an emblem of wartime production by the esteemed manufacturer Overhoff & Cie, renowned for its significant contribution to SS belt buckle production throughout the Third Reich era. This unmarked buckle, characteristic of war-time manufacturing, exhibits a smooth outer field housing a central motif of exceptional detail: an SS-style national eagle, its wings gracefully outstretched, clutching a laurel wreath embracing a static swastika. Encircled by a circular twisted rope border adorned with the Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" (My Honor is Loyalty!), this emblem resonates with historical significance.
Retaining approximately 40-50% of its original silver paint on the exterior and an impressive 90% on the back, this buckle boasts a remarkable level of preservation. The backside mirrors the front, bearing testament to its meticulous craftsmanship. Minor wear marks from the combat belt, have gently worn away some paint on the back. Minimal surface rust contributes to its authentic patina.
Despite its combat-worn appearance, the details of this buckle remain crisp and authentic. In very good to excellent condition.
