Original Waffen SS EM/NCO's Belt Buckle Unmarked Overhoff & Cie– A typical unmarked war-time production buckle made by company Overhoff and Cie, which was a major producer of SS belt buckles during the entire Third Reich era. It features a smooth outer field with high relief, embossed, central motif pattern consisting of an SS style national eagle with out-stretched wings clutching a wreath with a static swastika. The swastika and wreath are in turn encompassed by a circular twisted rope border with Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!", (My Honor is Loyalty!). The script is situated on a textured background field and is encircled by the inner and outer twisted rope borders. It retains about 90% of original silver paint on the outside and 95% of the original paint on the back. The backside of the buckle is a mirror image of the front. Some minor surface rust, which could be removed or just left alone. The details of this buckle is crisp. Very good to excellent condition.
