Unissued Original Waffen SS EM/NCO Aluminum Buckle By Overhoff & Cie RZM 36/40 SS Type II

This aluminum Waffen-SS belt buckle features a beautifully embossed central section showcasing the SS-pattern eagle and swastika, encircled by the SS motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" (My Honor is Loyalty). The buckle retains approximately 98% of its original factory-applied silver paint, with only a few very minor surface scratches, preserving its outstanding appearance.

The reverse is clearly marked "RZM 36/40 SS" under the prongs:

• "36" denotes the maker, Overhoff & Cie of Lüdenscheid.
• "40" indicates the year of manufacture, 1940.

This is the Type II variant, distinguished by its flat-topped "3" and the SS runes enclosed within two concentric circles—a sought-after feature for collectors.
