The wear reveals glimpses of its original Luftwaffe blue. Although the2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal has significantly faded, a faint “ghost” silhouetteof the eagle remains. The original leather liner, remarkably intact with an original drawstring, speaks ofthe helmet's journey through time, while the original chinstrap, though showingsigns of wear with the tip missing, remains attached.
