Original US WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet With Liner & Chinstrap Marked K- This helmet retains its original factory paint and patina with textured finish on the outside. The helmet includes both its liner and chinstrap. The liner, well-preserved, still holds the instruction tag securely positioned at the top of the inside dome. The chinstrap, though complete, shows signs of age and dryness, and could use a bit of conditioner. The rear of the helmet it is marked "K" for the code of the manufacturer and there is an "8" inside a circle. Considering its age, this WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet remains in excellent condition.
