Original US WWI Army Officer's Tunic With Sam Browne Belt & Breaches-
Tunic: This tunic has little to no flaws. It's really in mint condition. Laying flat measures approximately 19" pit to pit. It has Officer grade rank insignia. All buttons are intact.
Sam Browne Belt, Cross Strap & Ammo Pouch: The belt is stamped size 32 and the cross strap is size 35. Both are in excellent near mint condition. The ammo pouch attached is dated 1922 and the initials MB are stamped under the flap. Slight corrosion on the ammo pouch hardware. See pics for details. This set is mint!
Breaches:
Pair (1) - Has handwritten name "Capt. Lohmiller" on the inside. These show age and plenty of use. The button on the reverse side pocket is broken in half. Laying flat the waist measures approximately 16" across.
Pair (2) - This pair is considerably smaller than the other. Laying flat measures approximately 10" across. A period style handkerchief was found in the pocket. The breaches do not show a lot of use but there are some areas of fading. Possibly from poor storage.
