This US WWII Mountain Troop backpack, dated 1943, is marked by Protection Products Co. on the reverse side of the closure flap. Despite a small rip on the lower backside, the backpack retains all original leather and canvas straps, along with intact hardware. The zipper functions properly, though a metal piece is missing from one end. The metal frame is in excellent, solid condition, contributing to the overall excellent preservation of the backpack.
