Original US WWII M1 Swivel Bale Helmet With Westinghouse Liner-
HELMET SHELL
It does appear to have factory OD Green paint on helmet shell with fine cork textured finish.
The web chinstrap is intact and still in solid condition, but is dirty and some specks of yellow paint.
Excellent condition.
LINER
Westinghouse Marked Helmet Liner. Has been repainted orange/yellow and was repurposed for Bureau of Prisons - see pics for details.
The fixed webbing is in intact and in excellent condition.
The original leather chinstrap is dry and broken - no longer intact.
Neckband is missing.
Original Sweatband is intact.
Excellent condition (aside from being repainted).
