Original US WWII M1 Swivel Bale Helmet With Chinstrap & Westinghouse Liner- HELMET SHELL
Retains a lot of the Original OD Green paint on helmet shell with fine cork textured finish, but there appears to be a discolor of paint from oil or something? Some minor rust areas throughout. Has usual marks/rubs either from minimal use or poor storage. Otherwise in very good condition.
The web chinstrap is slightly stained and has brass hardware.
LINER
Westinghouse Marked Helmet Liner with Original OD green paint. Very good condition aside from some marks/rubs & being personalized with nickname "Jim Boy".
Webbing inside the liner is in very good condition.
Early Double Wire Sweatband is present and missing (1) spring clip. Faintly marked A.G. & Co.? In decent condition. Its a bit dry. The webbing on the sweatband has a small tear due to rust.
The Neckband is missing and the webbing for the Headband is the early type with folded edges at the A Washers.
