Description

Original US WWII M1 Naval Fixed Bail Helmet With Firestone Liner-
HELMET SHELL
  • The helmet was repainted a very light blue color for the Navy. Some of the original green paint is visible.
  • The stenciled markings are of 2 criss-crossed cannons with gun position numbers. Someone's name or initials are stenciled on the side.
  • The web chinstrap is intact and still in solid condition. Shows some age. Hardware is brass.
LINER
  • Firestone Marked Helmet Liner. Excellent condition aside from some very minor marks/rubs. All is still intact.
  • Leather chinstrap is missing, but the metal hardware still remains on the garter studs.
  • Neckband is attached and is a size Large.
  • Sweatband is an Early Double Wire Buckle made by J&J. Leather is slightly dry but still in excellent condition.
  • The fixed webbing is in excellent condition.
