Original US WWII 8th Army Air Corps Ike Jacket 42R Dated 1944-
This 1944-dated wool Ike jacket is a size 42R and has maintained excellent overall condition, with only minor moth holes in select areas. On the left collar, there is an Enlisted Man's Army Air Corps collar pin, while the right collar has a small hole where a pin once was but is now missing.
The left sleeve is adorned with an Army Air Corps patch, an Enlisted rank patch, an Overseas Service Bars patch, and a single Service Bar stripe. On the right sleeve, there's an 8th Army Air Corps patch with an Enlisted rank patch positioned below it. Above the right chest pocket, a "Ruptured Duck" Honorable Discharge patch is proudly displayed.
This piece is an excellent example of wartime attire, with distinct patches and emblems reflecting its history.
