RARE Original US WWII Experimental Ethocellulose Plastic Canteen Dated 1943 By Gen Industries- “AICO” is the most one you see of this type of plastic canteen and “G.I.” is one of the rarest. It is an orangish, yellow hued plastic canteen which is marked US, dated 1943, G.I. and an X each in their own circles on the base. No cork in the top of the cap. Canteen cover and cup are also dated 1943 and they are both in very good condition. Used, but in very good condition.
