The NSDAP Long Service Awards were instituted on April 2, 1939, in three classes, intended to recognize long-serving members of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. This is a fine example of the relatively scarce 10-Year Long Service Medal.
The medal is an early version with a bronze-coated finish, though the majority of the finish has worn off, with approximately 25% or more is remaining. There is some very minor corrosion present, primarily on the reverse side. The original ribbon is included and shows some staining. The suspension ring is unmarked.
Overall, this medal remains in good to very good condition, making it an excellent addition to any collection of political awards from the Third Reich era.
