The imagery features an early Wehrmacht machine gun crew lying on the ground providing support fire, with a soldier in the background using binoculars, all set against a mountain backdrop. The colorful scene is richly detailed and remains vibrant.The stein is topped with a lid engraved with "Grafenwöhr, Militär-Forsthaus u. Wasserturm," referring to the military training area in Bavaria. It was produced by the well-known German porcelain manufacturer Bauscher Weiden. The pottery is in excellent condition, retaining all of its colors, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, making it a near-mint collectible.
