Original Third Reich Kriegsflag 50x70 For U-Boat-
A genuine period Kriegsmarine national war flag, designed specifically for naval use. This example features screen-printed graphics on one side, with a tighter, stiffer cotton weave compared to standard Kriegsmarine flags, suggesting higher durability. The flag is ink-stamped with the maker’s mark: Plutzar & Brull K.G., Bielitz O/S. It is also clearly marked with the size, 50x70cm, along with the Kriegsmarine eagle-and-swastika emblem and the letter "M" underneath, signifying naval usage.
This size was highly sought after and commonly used on U-boats, making it one of the most desirable dimensions for collectors. Measuring approximately 50cm x 70cm, the flag is in excellent overall condition, a remarkable example of a rare Kriegsmarine artifact.
