Crafted by Assmann in 1937, the buckle features a striking aluminum construction with an unpainted, bare-metal finish—a hallmark of the period. Its design prominently showcases a German national eagle with a swastika emblem, set against a textured oval background and encircled by a wreath of finely detailed oak leaves.
Despite its age, the buckle is in outstanding condition, with minimal signs of wear and a subtle patina that adds to its vintage appeal.
