Original Post WWI/Pre-Third Reich Front Heil Paramilitary Belt Buckle-
Following the end of WWI a large number soldiers released from military service were absorbed into para-military organizations as a means of circumventing the Versailles Treaty. The buckle is a two-piece brass buckle, which features a small steel helmet within a circle with oak leaves forming the lower half and Front Heil on the top. Front piece is soldered on the back. Unmarked and has a good amount of surface rust on the prongs. Very good condition.
