Original Post War M40 Helmet Size 64 With Liner

This is a post-war M40 helmet that has been repainted flat black and converted into a double decal SS helmet. It includes a post-war leather liner, though the drawstring is missing. The helmet retains its chinstrap bales, but no chinstrap is present. The rear inside rim is stamped with size 64. An excellent project piece—whether restoring it as a post-war helmet or converting it into a WWII M40 for reenactment. Overall, it remains in excellent condition.
