Original German WWII M35 Double Decal Polizei Helmet ET64- This original early M35 combat Police Double Decal Helmet features a borderless Police decal that has been expertly touched up, as well as a Party Shield that has undergone similar restoration. The original factory apple green paint has been replaced with a pea green color, although it remains uncertain whether this alteration occurred during the Third Reich era or post-war. The helmet bears 1936 markings and a size 57 dome stamp on the inside. Despite signs of wear and age, the leather liner is remarkably well-preserved and comes with its original string intact. It's worth noting that the chinstrap is a modification, crafted from a cut-down tornister strap with original chinstrap hardware. The early non reinforced liner band is dated 1936 and sized 57. Overall, the helmet is in very good condition.
