Original German WWII Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge (Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe) By Arno Wallpach Unmarked-
This is a late-war production badge, crafted between 1944-1945 from a silvered zinc alloy. It is unmarked, but identifiable as a Type I badge produced by Arno Wallpach. The one-piece construction shows wear typical of its age, with most of the silver finish worn off. However, some of the silvering remains intact, particularly around certain areas. There is a small patch where the dark gray finish is missing on the left side of the cloud. Additionally, there is slight corrosion along the left side and a portion of the eagle, though these flaws are minor. Overall, it remains in very good condition considering its age and material.
