This bayonet features a 40cm blade with factory bluing, which remains largely intact on the blade, handle, and cross guard. The ricasso is marked, and a serial number is present at the top of the hilt. The scabbard appears parkerized, though it is unclear whether this finish was applied at the factory or post-war.
The wooden handle shows minor wear consistent with age but is in excellent condition overall. The blade has been sharpened approximately three-quarters of its length.
