This is an original WWII-era Japanese Model 30 Arisaka bayonet featuring a hooked quillon cross guard. The 40cm blade was never factory-blued, retaining its original finish. It is marked at the ricasso and has a serial number stamped on the top of the hilt.
The scabbard displays factory bluing, with minor surface rust, particularly at the tip/ball end. It also has a small dent on one side. Despite these minor imperfections, the blade slides in and out of the scabbard smoothly without any issues.
The wooden handle is a rich dark brown, showing minor wear consistent with age but remains in very good condition. The blade has been sharpened along approximately three-quarters of its length, likely during the period of use. Overall, this bayonet is in excellent condition.
