Original Imperial Japanese Sacred Treasure 7th Class Medal & Button Pin With Case-
This medal was established in 1888 by Meiji. Originally awarded in 8 classes (from 8th to 1st in order of importance). In 2003 it was reduced to 6 classes. It is given to those who have made distinguished achievements in research, business, healthcare, social work, state/local governments, or life improvements for the handicapped/impaired individuals.
The medal appears to be slightly tarnished, but is still in excellent condition. The ribbon is lightly discolored but is fully intact and the hook on the reverse side is present. The lapel/button hole pin is included. The black laquered case is in excellent condition.
