Original Imperial German WWI M1915 Gasmask With Filter- The gasmask is the M1915 model and is in very good condition. The gasmask is mostly complete and the canvas material is a little stiff, but could be carefully worked to open the gasmask a little more or just left alone. Straps for the gasmask are all there and complete. It is marked "3" for the mask size and the filter is dated 27. Juli 18. The metal canister does have the metal hinge and half of the gray green paint is still there with some minor surface rust and scratches of bare metal. It still has a partial belt hook strap, but shoulder strap is missing. Does have a spare lens compartment and has two pairs of spare lenses. The lid has the rank and name of the soldier. Very Good to Excellent condition for an item that is over 100 years old.
