Original German WWII Silver Infantry Assault Badge Unmarked C.E. Juncker With Envelope- An oval shaped oak leaf wreath in silver, with a national eagle clutching a swastika on the top and a bow tie on the bottom. Diagonally across the badge is a k98 with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle. It is made of zinc and has about 90% of silver finish on the front and back. On the back side a vertical round wire pin back, a crimped barrel hinge, and a C wire catch. Not marked, but has the characteristics of C.E. Juncker, formerly referred to as a "slim stalk". The paper envelope is marked LDO on the front and has a tear from the pin. Otherwise the envelope in in very good condition. Overall an Excellent condition medal.
