Description

Original German WWII Russian Front Hand Carved Walking Stick Dated 1942-- A popular and unique German soldier souvenir, a hand carved wooden walking stick "Wolchowstok". Measures approximately 36"L x 1.5"W (at the widest width). The details on this are remarkable - hard to capture in pictures. A hole has been drilled thru the stick near the top for placement of a strap.

Some of the carvings include a Russian city name of Siwerskaja etched in detail. There's also an eagle with a swastika 1942. There are some Russian churches. There's a swastika in a diamond along with a iron cross in a diamond. Another interesting carving is a fighter plane and the word Russland. There is a snake that wraps around the stick near the bottom.

Considering the age of the stick, it's in excellent condition. A real cool piece of history.
