This example features an excellent blade marked "GUSSTAHL PUMA SOLINGEN." The scabbard is the desirable first model type, with the signature rolled-over clip, in contrast to the second model, which has a flat, slightly concave clip. The scabbard retains approximately 95% of its original black paint. While the handle grips appear to be post-war resin-cast replacements, they do slightly affect the overall value of the knife. Despite this, the piece remains an original, first-model Puma Fighting Knife in excellent condition. This knife would typically sell for $700 to $800, making it an appealing option for collectors.
