This exceptionally rare late-war German WWII mess kit is a matching set, with the bottom two bale wire holders stamped "MN45." Produced in 1945, this model was made from aluminum—an increasingly scarce material typically reserved for aircraft production at the time.
A unique feature of this mess kit is the small aluminum bowl insert, a rare and seldom-seen variant. Both the top and bottom pieces retain a significant amount of their original factory-applied paint. While the steel components show some rust, the mess kit remains in good to very good condition overall, with minimal signs of use. A scarce and highly collectible piece of late-war German field gear!
