Original German WWII M42 Heer/Waffen SS No Decal Helmet Marked hkp66-
This M42 helmet retains approximately 95% of its original dark field-gray textured paint. There are minor rust spots from use and some paint marks likely resulting from years of storage, possibly in a garage. The helmet features a complete leather liner that remains supple and in excellent condition, with a few small stains. A previous owner wrote a name on the liner in magic marker. The liner is marked size 58 and retains its original drawstring.
All split pins are intact, with the majority of their paint still present. The interior dome shows some wax residue, which can be removed. Helmet inside rim markings show it is an "hkp66" size shell. The original chinstrap is present, marked with an RB number near the middle, rather than on the tip of the long strap. The chinstrap shows slight use but remains in excellent condition overall. Overall the M42 Helmet is in excellent condition.
