Original German WWII M40 Tropical Cap Dated 1943 Size 55-
This size 55 cap is constructed of olive drab colored cotton. There are ventilation holes on both sides and they do have some slight corrosion. The insignia on the cap is original and factory sewn on nicely. The interior is lined in the trademark bright-red cotton and is manufacturer stamped and dated. The sweatband is intact and shows no wear and tear. The reinforced visor still maintains proper shape. Overall, this is in near mint condition.
