Description

Original German WWII M18 Single Decal Heer Late War Helmet Size 66- This original German WWII M18 Single Decal Heer Late War Helmet, a testament to the tumultuous era, showcases distinctive mid to late war characteristics. Its exterior and interior bear dark field-gray textured paint, layered over existing factory-applied textures. Notably, the Heer decal, emblematic of wartime production, remains partially intact, preserving approximately 30% of its original design amidst scrapes, scratches, and surface rust concentrated at the helmet's crown.
Within, a complete pre-war aluminum non-reinforced liner offers historical authenticity, accompanied by a light brown toned leather that is still supple and with original drawstring, evoking the essence of its era. Despite the aging, an original chinstrap, marked with an RB Number, accompanies the helmet in several pieces and dry.
A meticulous hand-brushing of dark field-gray paint adorns the inside rim, enhancing its historical allure. Overall, this artifact is in very good to excellent condition, offering a tangible connection to the realities of WWII.
