This authentic M40 helmet, manufactured by Quist (Q66 size shell), is a genuine example of a WWII Luftwaffe No Decal helmet. It retains a significant amount of its original factory-applied Luftwaffe blue paint, both on the exterior and interior, with minor areas of surface rust present.
The liner, made of pigskin leather, is intact but extremely stiff due to age and shows signs of extensive use, with age-related drying and staining. A small section of the liner has some damage, likely caused by mice, and the drawstring exhibits some fraying due to age. There is no chinstrap included.
