Original German WWII Luftwaffe Double Barrel Flare Pistol Marked "fzs 1941"-
This is an original 1941-production German Luftwaffe double-barrel flare pistol, maker-stamped "fzs" on the left side, indicating production by Fritz Zerssen & Co., Saulgau. Below the maker's mark is the Luftwaffe eagle/2 droop-wing proof stamp.
The blued finish is in excellent overall condition, with minor wear visible. Brass-finished small parts—an earlier production feature—complement the pistol’s design and remain in great shape. The dark brown Bakelite grips are fully intact, showing no cracks or damage.
Both the safety mechanism and the barrel/trigger selector switch are fully functional, ensuring smooth operation. The bores are clean and well-maintained.
This flare pistol represents a fine example of WWII German engineering and craftsmanship, retaining many of its original features.
