Original German WWII Luftwaffe Driver's Proficiency Badge in Bronze-
A series of badges in bronze, silver, and gold were introduced in 1942. Exceptional driving ability and vehicle maintenance were among the main considerations to earn these. They were awarded to soldiers and civilian personnel.
This circular badge shows an embossed steering wheel on a pebbled background. Complete with two prongs on a Luftwaffe blue wool base with original backing plate and paper covering. There is some visible corrosion on the front, but is still in very good condition.
