Original German WWII Dress Bayonet With Frog And Portepee- The nickel plating on this bayonet is still bright throughout and is still 100 percent showing very little age. The blade is unmarked. The mortise button, the lock works well and the original red felt is missing in the hilt. The black checkered grip plates are in perfect condition. They are retained by steel rivets, but one has some very minor rust on it. The scabbard is in very good to excellent condition having original black paint, but has some minor age and wear to it. The blade measures 25 cm long. The blade is in near mint condition and is quite beautiful. The original brown leather blade washer is in place. Comes with a leather parade frog and portepee and both show age. The portepee may have once been red for artillery?
