Original German WWII Black Wound Badge Marked 63 By Metallkunststoff- It is constructed out of a die stamped that has been black painted. The oval badge depicts an embossed profile of a mobile swastika, above an M35 pattern helmet, which is again above two crossed broad swords. This then all lies on a pebbled field and is surrounded by a laurel leaf and berry wreath which is tied together at the bottom with a bow tie. The back of the black wound badge is marked 63 at the rim of the helmet for Metallkunststoff of Gablonz. The pin and hinge are there and in well-working condition. The black paint remains 98% intact. In excellent condition.
