Original German WWII Refurbished M40 Helmet Q68 With Minor Pitting- A very nicely done M40 helmet made by Quist. The outside of the helmet is in excellent condition, but the inside dome does have some minor rust pitting due to letting the helmet being upside down and most likely rain or moisture accumulating over time. Two small dents on one side. Painted dark fieldgray with a textured finish. Comes European leather liner size 61, with an European reproduction chinstrap & split pins. Great for display or for reenacting. Size 68 M40 helmet shells are very hard to get!
