This paint was copied form an original M42 Helmet. The Germans started to paint M40 helmets this color and continued to use the same color on M42 helmets. This color was also used on Fallschirmjäger helmets. If you are looking to do an early to mid/late war impression and want the 100% correct color for your M40, M42 or Fallschirmjäger helmet this is it!
excellent quality, and I had enough for multiple layers and with a little leftover, so overall, I would definitely buy again for future restorations

Excellent Product
Refurbished a repro helmet with off colors and this fixed it wonderfully. My only complaint and maybe I didn't do something right, but the paint chipped when I reinstalled my liner. May need to redo it again with a base primer.

The Best WWII German Helmet Mid/Late War Paint!
I love this paint!!! Not only is this dead on with pigment of mid-late war German helmet regulation color, but decals attach and transfer perfectly to this paint. Textured and non-textured helmets. Some paint will give a tough time bonding decals to it. Well...not with this paint! It literally is the best there is!
