Original Third Reich Reichs Arbeits Dienst Leaders Dagger By Carl Julius Krebs With Leather Hanger By Assmann- This is an original Third Reich Reichs Arbeits Dienst Leader's Dagger, Model 1937, crafted by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. The single-edged, fullered, clip-point blade shows signs of aging, including some gray areas and small rust spots. The blade features the "Arbeit adelt" motto and the crowned K "Carl Julius Krebs Solingen" maker mark, both well-etched. The blade tip is intact.

The nickel-silver plated sheet metal has developed a patina, with minor corrosion and small pitting. The scabbard, retaining its original throat screws, fits the hilt perfectly and includes the original leather piece under the cross guard. The cast aluminum or zinc-based, nickel-silver plated, and burnished hilt has suffered some damage due to poor storage over the years. The eagles head does have some small bubbling throughout. The white celluloid grip plates have small chips on the back.

The leather hanger, made by Assmann, is in very good to excellent condition and original to the dagger, though it might benefit from conditioning. On the market, these RAD Leader daggers range between $3000.00 to $4000.00 and hangers alone can range from $600.00 to $800.00 if available. Overall, this RAD Leader’s dagger is in good condition and is priced to sell.
