Original German WWII Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung Newspaper (Berlin Illustrated Newspaper) Issue 52, Dec 1943 -- This newspaper type magazine is dated 30 December 1943. The cover photo is of some German soldiers that were just awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class and are trying to navigate on frozen ice. One of the captions on the bottom is Vor der Silvesterfeier: kinder fix! die warten auf uns! which translates to: Before the New Year's Eve celebration, kids ready! they are waiting for us! There are great period photos, articles, and comics.

Measures approximately 15" x 11" and has 12 pages. All pages are in tact. Shows some age with discoloration and worn edges. There are a few small rips and torn edges, too. In good, used condition.
