Original Early Third Reich RAD Members Meine Zeit beim Arbeitsdienst (My Time In The Labor Service) Personal Photo Album- The album has a fabric-like cover and It is bound with twist cord and 2 tassels. Albums like this are very rare, especially when filled with personal, handwritten entries and viewpoint photos taken by a young Reichs Arbeits Dienst member.

Inside of the cover are handwritten entries of important milestones & experiences. The very first entry "IN den Feiwilligen Arbeitsdienst eingetreten am 30.8.1932 Stahlhelmlager Bottrop" which translates to "Joined the voluntary labor service August 30, 1932, Steel Helmet Camp in Bottrop". See pics for details of entries.

This album has 68 period photos (5 photos are loose). There are a total of 46 photo/card stock pages (not all pages are used). Great photos of RAD members on parade, at barracks, doing labor and hanging out with comrades. Many other photos of RAD Officer's working and posing. Also great photos of flags flying or hanging. Last photo is what looks like the RAD member joined the Heer after his service and was in a Gebirgsjäger unit. The album measures approximately 13" x 9". It has some worn corners and shows minimal age. It remains in very good, used condition.
