This case was specifically designed to carry the M1A1 Carbine, a lightweight folding-stock rifle, with a 15-round magazine in place during parachute jumps. Often referred to as a "Paratrooper holster," it features felt padding on the leg side for comfort, meaning the U.S. stamp was always worn facing outward.
This authentic WWII-era case shows signs of age with staining throughout. The snaps remain fully functional, but the leg strap has been removed. The only visible marking is the "U.S." stamp on the front. Despite the missing strap, the case remains in very good condition overall.
