Original U.S. WWII Paratrooper Jump Carbine Carry Case, Damaged-
This was designed to carry the M1A1 carbine, a lightweight rifle, during parachute jumps. It was also known as a Paratrooper holster. The bags are padded with felt on the leg side, so the bag had to be carried with the U.S. stamp on the side that faced out.
This authentic bag shows age and has stains throughout. The snaps work well. Unfortunately, the leg strap has been removed. The only marking is the "U.S." print on the front. Still in decent condition.
