This bayonet features a 40cm blade that retains its factory-applied black paint rather than being blued. The ricasso is marked, and the top of the hilt bears a serial number. The handle and cross guard show minor surface rust. The scabbard, also factory-painted black, exhibits wear consistent with age and use.
The wooden handle is in excellent condition, with minor signs of wear and aging. The blade is sharpened along approximately three-quarters of its length. It comes with an original rubberized frog, which, while slightly stiff, remains in excellent overall condition.
The bayonet appears to match the scabbard; however, the blade fits loosely inside and may fall out if turned upside down. Despite this, the bayonet is in very good to excellent condition overall—a fine addition to any collection.
